The Shed reopens Monday 8th Jan 2024
Our Sheds welcome older men and women who would like to use and share practical skills, tools and resources to work on projects of their own choosing. Whichever activities are pursued, the essence of a Shed is not the building but the network of relationships between the members.

November 2021
The Shed has received a very generous donation of £1500 from the Greetham Valley Golf Club. The cheque was presented at the golf club's annual awards evening on the 12th November. A framed art work was also presented that had the signatures of all those who contributed to the fund raising.
October 2021
We are now busy making wooden Christmas trees and other products for our stand outside Tesco Oakham on Saturday 4th Dec.
Oakham Fire Station have been looking to utilise their outdoor space to benefit the community and provide a safe space for anyone to come and look after their mental health.The Men in Sheds have made large wheeled planters for the garden being created at the Oakham fire station in partnership with Peppers.
Pepper's is Rutland’s local mental health group with a shop front based in Oakham town centre, open to locals and those in need.

Stand selling goods at the Wansford Show on Sat 28th August.

The shed will be open from 10th August for safe shedding following Covid guidelines and protocols.
December 2019
At the shed Santa's little Shedders are busy making gifts to sell to raise money to fund the running of the shed.
4th November 2019
Men in Sheds has moved to our new building unit 2A still at the
Oakham Enterprise Park, Ashwell. We are now able to welcome Women in Sheds on Thursdays 9.30 - 12.30 and 12.30 - 15.30.

Men in Sheds stand at the Choices Event held at Rutland Show Ground.
18th July 2019
Men In Sheds Rutland presents four book stores to Langham School. The book stores will be used to store books in the grounds that the children can access to read.
